Sample Aspen Mulling Spices Recipes:
Apple Squares
- 1/2 C. butter
- 1/2 t. salt
- 3/4 C. Aspen Mulling Spices
- 1 egg
- 1 C + 1 T flour
- 2 med. apples, cored and diced
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 C. chopped nuts
Cream butter with salt, sugar and egg. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan and bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
Aspen Mulling Spices Holiday Wassail
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice
- 1 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice
- 1 carton Aspen Mulling Spices
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cored apple, cut in rings
- 2 oranges, cut in rings
- Heat the first five ingredients together in a large container. For garnish, put apples and oranges on cinnamon sticks. Simmer to let flavors blend, then pour into punch bowl to serve.
